Students took a tour around our school to take pictures and film(using the Flip cameras) types of trash we found. Students wrote down observations as we took our tour.
The next day students researched online how long it takes different types of trash to decompose. We were shocked to find out a gallon milk jug a million years to decompose! Students will begin working on their environmental awareness poster. We will be entering these into the contest as well as putting them up around our school.
